Once you've registered as a Global Yuku user, when you go to make your first
post you'll find you have to apply for membership to these forums. This is straightforward and is simply a way of ensuring that one of the Administrators
is aware of each new member. Just follow the instructions you will receive after you click on a Reply link or click the New
Thread button.
Very occasionally we decline membership if we feel that's in the best interests of all our members. We want to keep this a "user friendly" show and people like to feel confident they are dealing with people who will keep it that way.
Once your membership is approved, it's helpful, time saving and more friendly for all if you take a couple of minutes to fill in some details on your profile before you make your first post. Doesn't have to be much - but your first name and where you're from is appreciated. A sentence or two saying what your interests and fitness goals and aims are will also help people. Oh and, just in case it's not obvious, you might like to indicate whether you're a he or a she.
Please read the Frequently Asked Questions (or FAQ's) forum before posting your questions. It is likely that you will find answers to some of your questions within them.
Finally, when you make your first post it's really appreciated if you introduce yourself before launching into a question etc. Even a simple: "Hi all, I'm Wanda - a once-was weight-watcher from Wagga Wagga." is cool.
Thanks heaps! I know you'll get lots of support from everyone here.
